What other fish should I stock a tank of fresh water 55 g?

I have a total of 14 tiger barbs in my tank full cycle: 9 ruby barbs 3-pin black 2 green tiger barbs tiger had my heart set on the clown loaches as they tend to school with the Tigers, but acknowledge that it would be cruel to stop growing for my pleasure. What other comparable loaches will be nice and play with my spikes? Besides loaches and bottom feeders, what else I have to put in the tank would be needed to balance the aquarium, while not overstocking? Will I have enough room for a dwarf gourami? In my tank is a substrate of small river stones dropped some large smooth rocks interspersed throughout. I have an Emperor 280 filter and an AquaClear BioWheel 110 is performed concurrently an air pump, a head of power (strength unknown) and two 15W fluorescent lamps.

In first place were a Dwarf Gourami is really out of the question, as its compatibility with tuberculosis are not as good. You can get away with a Kissing Gourami, but a larger tank needs to be. A school of 6 can Khuli loaches be a good idea. They are nocturnal living at the bottom are very shy creatures that need plenty of hiding places. As for playing with the beard, I do not will, even if you had a larger tank would be great some clown loaches. One of the links below is a compatibility checker, but I would like further research, although it is said that a certain fish is compatible with tuberculosis. Good luck.
