I am thinking of setting up a 40 gallon aquarium spare 2 or 3 goldfish. What filter would you recommend?
Fancy goldfish, Unusual / kites. I can get products made by Copenhagen, EHEIM, aquaone, Sunsun, elite, marina Fluval, AquaClear, halia and other brands. Should I go to HOB or canister? I can not get or topfin Marineland products
Assuming you have the same products to choose from where you are, I really like Marineland Emperor I have in my 40 gallon. It runs quietly and has plenty of room for filter media. If it's within your budget to get a filter cartridge will definitely go for it. The only reason I did not get a Fluval canister was the price.
