Are the movements of water in my Betta tank you stressing?
Well, I have a Tetra filter energy. A whisper is a size Medium. I have also an air stone in there with an air pump. And an air valve to control (I do not know how ot controls ..) I subtract my tank after having will my Betta. But my last Betta was a 2.5-gallon tank with the same set of filters to the lower, some half-nozzle blocking filter, and some silk plants blocking your path and remained at the opposite end of the filter and sometimes at night, is based on a false leaf sorta .. Filter Diaganol .. But now I've started a new, put a stone in the air there and the same filter. I'm going Tetra brand with the API. As in the water conditioner. So I'm going to use shield of stress. Also I used API Aquarium salt. My plan is to get some live plants for the tank soon enough. I currently do NOT have a Betta in the tank. Only bike out. Question principal is, Should I take the air diffuser and still put in the filter Panties?
The air diffuser serves no purpose other than decoration – The filter provides plenty of surface agitation, which is all that is needed to get oxygen into the water. Feel free to get rid of airstone to your liking. Panty might work, but not restrict the flow of water that much, so that the current reality is not affected in any way cool. Instead, consider using a sponge, thin, which can be cut in half (to create a "pocket"). Slide this over the intake, and viola! Bedside became a sponge filter!
