What size aquarium air pump should I buy?
I have a girl 70. and a tank of 23 "bubble wall. The package wall the bubble was said that a girl 40. pump can operate this. Hopefully the size is sufficient, or do I have to worry about getting a larger pump to overcome water pressure? The tank is 26 "deep. I have nothing else to connect to it. I am considering the Tetra Whisper 40 or 60. Would there be any problem the strongest connecting 60 to the wall of the bubble? Thanks!
If this is just to support the bubble wall as decoration in the tank then the size tank does not really matter much to the pump and I would get what the bubble wall requires a minimum. If this is intended to be used as the only source of oxygen for the tank, then get at least the minimum recommended size for your tank.
