Marine aquarium lighting?

I recently bought a 125 sailors to the whole. I do not know the age of the lights (t-8 I think), but would like I completely replaced since the start pretty cheap. What are the lights of the moon and actinics, and necessary? I want to enter this coral tank on the road. Is it necessary that the lights are all 72 "at the top, or going to 48" fixtures work? Any manufacturer that I avoid? The lights can be mounted on the inside of my glass. Looking for any suggestions, links, and advice from personal experience. Thanks for any info you can provide!

u do not really need an accessory 72in but it would be stupid with the lights on one side only. u do not need lights of the moon or actinics but they look cool actinics can help the fish to stress out in the sun and sun down however. i wouldnt buy from a chain PetSmart or so. eBay definantly not least make sure ur ur a trusted brand. I would trust anything from liveaquaria.com
