I wish I had a kind of bio aquarium in South America?
So I have a 75 gallon aquarium and I wanted a U.S. aquarium bio type South. I was thinking along the lines of this: 4 angelfish (1 man, 3 women), two Bolivian rams, 12 bleeding heart tetras, 8 otos, two blue rams and white. What else should I add here? I was thinking dwarf gouramis but not South America. Any fish that are easy to care for this region? My second question is what plants are in this region. I have 2 amazon swords, Cabomba 4, and some micro sword as a ground cover. (These are the thoughts, he did not still running) What other plants are there. I have a large swamp root, two pieces of driftwood (one of 12 inches, other 5) and a rock. (All I have!) Any other things I could add? Remember, I want it to look natural? Thanks for your time.
Might not get a male and female 3 angelfish, the only time you can reliably sex that is when they are about to spawn. About the only way is to get a lot when young, and raise them and let them match up so you can see that they are men and women. You could buy a couple of adults where the gender is already known, but they do very expensive! If you want something more than a fish of the size of a gourami, about how a school of silver axes? Just keep a lid on the tank with them, are the bridges! Pencilfish are welcome, but remain small enough that the greatest angels might be tempted to eat. Add this Web site lists plants by regions of which can be found. http://www.plantgeek.net/plantguide_cat.php?category=6 But instead of going strictly to this list, keep in mind that good lighting is can provide and whether they will grow in those conditions. If not, you might be able to find a plant that needs less light than it will look similar. Your home page type plants aquarium lighting, placement, difficulty, and more.
