Painting the inside of the aquarium?
I have done much research on the use of paint in an aquarium and found that the epoxy and fusion Krylon paint works well. But everyone seems to be away from epoxy and recommend Krylon (nothing bad to say about epoxy though). Krylon be cheaper seems to be the only reason I can find people you like. Krylon painting takes days to dry and I need the paint to make a model ship that I will put in the tank. This would be very difficult for me to make the model if I had to wait days for parts to dry. Is there another reason to stay away from epoxy? Anyone know how I can get ahold of small portions of any painting? Also, I went to my local hobby shop and suggested polyurethane. He said the gas in the planes can not even decomposition of this painting and I try to test the water. Thoughts? How do I prove this? I mean no harm to fish so if if you put in a tank without fish it is necessary to test / take into account?
To prove that the painting I like to get in touch a bit of litmus paper (paper that the evidence the amount of acid or alkaline a solution is) and the thing just put the paint in water w / fish out and just test the water every day. Also I would check to ensure that the paint does not change the color of the water.
