Is my orange tetras live with a fish supply?

Hello. I have 2 small orange tetras in my tank for small fish (the aquarium presented as a set with a filter, light and air pump). I also bought a food fish (do not know what kind of fish is, I only I have it for 10 cents at the local Petco) and put in the tank. I noticed today that the fish supply is still chasing around in my orange tetras. I do not know if are playing, or if the feeder fish are chasing them, trying to scare them. are normally aggressive fish food? What should I do?

Their feeders are likely to be small goldfish, rosy red minnows or guppies. The only one of these that would be able to live comfortably with the tetras would be guppies, not because of aggression, however, but it should be kept in different water temperatures. Tetras are a tropical species and should have temperature water from 76-80th, but the red rose and gold prefer cooler water in the range of 65-75th. Although I might be able to tolerate the range of others, a of them will not do as well as I could. You should also know that the tetras are a kind of school, so they must be kept in groups of 5 +. That does not mean you should go out and buy three more and add immediately – if you just set up the tank would not have completed a cycle, however, and too many fish will lead to intoxication ammonia because your tank has not had the opportunity to cycle though.
