aquarium algae.?
this is my 70 gallon. I'm beginning to be aware of their algae. I mean, I could take, but I guess my plants are affected in some way, perhaps. my question is: Does the injection
How are your feet doing? I just add more CO2 if your plants are starving for it. Algae and plants are competing for the same nutrients. If you have too much of any nutrient that can encourage the growth of algae and plants can not consume everything. If you do not have enough for your algae can out compete plant nutrients. If your plants seem to be rather what I would add no extra CO2. It's really all about balance. First, try to reduce the light (not just the lights out of his tank, but too light for your tank). I'm assuming you have your lights on for at least 10 hours a day for plants? Try cutting down to 9 and see what happens. Excess CO2 can also potentially harm fish (which need oxygen to survive.) Another option is to get some algae eating fish. Otocinclus will eat the algae out of nowhere. Siamese algae eaters are good too. You can also throw in a couple of snails, just be careful what kind do otherwise you could have a tank full of all them. In the end, all tanks to develop some type of algae. Just find that balance (fish, light, nutrients) that works best for your situation.
