I clean the gravel before adding it to the aquarium?

I bought some artificial gravel for my aquarium.It looks a little dust particles packet.Are mineral fine dust or dirt? Should be cleaned before using it in my tank?

Of course! Each time you clean the tank, you should clean everything, especially the tank and gravel. I could not bear to put even a stone hidden in the wash tank without lol. My bettas little love. You should wash everything you put in your aquarium. I honestly have no idea where this has been and will be with your fish. I tend to be too picky about the time I rinse gravel. I have to make sure nothing in it. No mineral dust! Clean but also prevents water from fog in the tank and having to do another water change annoying. NEVER use soap, chemicals (Plus water conditioner, stress coat, etc.) or anything else when you rinse the gravel. The gravel will be far enough clean rinse. Things soap and chemicals that kill fish. All you need do is get a caullinder and crops of rocks back and forth, making sure to get all of them until no more dirt appears out of the water. Good luck!
