How I can grow plants in the aquarium?

Recently the 55-gallon tank. And with it came the huge bell. 4 lights had long on it. When the guy I bought it I was working, the lights in purple or blue in color? What are these used? We have sought, and found something called reef lights, the light blue witch aquariam purple. Are these the ones I have? If yes, heat the water? Or burn or damage fish? No I have a saltwater tank, a fresh water is what I have. Anyway, I also wonder, are these lights used to grow seaweed Real? I'm pretty sure that those lights are rock. No, not burn the fish and no I do not think that would give your plants the nutrients they need. If you have live plants in your tank, you can not have an air pump.
