The best T-12 model for the planted aquarium lamp?
Have you had success with a particular make and model of 40 watts / 48 "/ T-12 F40 Bulb /? Its time to replace mine, and I would find something better. I have 2 slots open. My setup is a little strange. Has been built up over time. I have 2 x T40 in a standard aquarium hood. In my hood others, I have two current U.S. 32 watt compact fluorescent retrofits and a filament outlet double with 2 25 watt CF bulbs screws.
You can also use more efficient T-8 bulbs for this fixture length. Zoom does an excellent for its implementation, 8500 K. Flora Sun Aquarium plants need more and more watts of infrared light. This curve drops sharply below 400 nm and above 700 nm. Above right, also a K 20000 would be a good complement as the Coralife 20,000 K or 18,000 K Power Glo Hagen As outbreaks Inc. is the god of plants, as well as compact fluorescent light bulb CFL K 6400 be more efficient and screwed into a standard outlet. Avoid cold white bulbs, they fall in the valley, not very useful for plants. Here is where most of the green and yellow resides and is why chloraphyll is green.
