I have a small circle of light with small dots in it inside the wall of my aquarium?

there are plenty of small snails in my tank and I'm thinking they might be snail eggs. seems disgusting and I want to make sure that isn't a bad thing. what is and what should I do?

These are the common snail eggs. Most of them probably do not grow to be the most beautiful shells you see in stores. Often the snail eggs are collected by accident in the purchase of new fish. If you already have a snail or two, is likely to put one of them. If you want to keep the snails, which is great, but beware, if your snails keep laying eggs (which often do once you start) you can have a surplus population. Snails lay eggs a lot and can take care of your tank quickly. This goes especially for the common pond snail. However, many fish in the aquarium (or not) eat snails and snail eggs chair, many of Snails can not reach adulthood. If you end up with an infestation are not murderers commercial spiral that can quickly solve your problem. Just make sure read all labels before adding these to your system as it can be hard on other fish or live plants. Good luck with that.
