The Nova is a great light. Be sufficient for most corals large polyps (LPS), but not for most small coral polyps. Most perishable and have no problem. Many corals and anemones high light did not thrive under those lights and require a high-watt halide. Some MSF deep water would be fine. The Nova is perfect for corals Euphyllia (grapes, frogspawn, hammer), the majority of brain coral, elegance coral, the bubble coral, leather, gorgonians, mushrooms, zoos, some Montiporas, etc, but not enough for most Acropora SPS or similar. Like the previous corals they are either going to the covenants. I personally prefer and only run T5S T5S light tanks in moderate / low Halides and in my high light tanks. I use a compact my freshwater planted tank. Current U.S. (Making the Nova) makes a great light and are a wonderful company. They stand behind their product and if you have a problem with it you can contact them directly and that will solve the problem in most cases.
