Aquarium Filter: AquaClear Marineland or?

I am setting up an aquarium of 30 gallons and 70 gallons like a filter. I can not decide between the penguin Marineland 350B, or the AquaClear 70 (formerly AquaClear 300). I like the AquaClear because it is customizable and has a great bio-filtration. I also like the Marineland, because although it seems that less maintenance. The AquaClear is a bit more expensive, but I'm willing to pay if it is the best filter. So should I get? I want one with less maintenance, but also the quietest. Will be in a busy area of our house, so it can not be too high. All comments are welcome. Thanks!

This does not! =) So I just bought a Marineland filter (Penguin 350B Not yet) and for the past few days has been incredible. *.* It's pretty quiet, and only I have to change the cartridge once every 2 months! I really recommend using Marineland products, but honestly, do you think is correct. Good luck! ~ Toni
