1. Stanley Park: Stanley Park is an oasis of 1000 acres in the center of the city. Within the park are numerous hiking trails, beaches, gardens, lakes and the unique Vancouver Aquarium. Outside enjoy the beaches in the summer, two Popular activities include biking or walking along the boardwalk of 10 kilometers (with bike rental shops a few blocks away) or visit the aquarium. The aquarium is one of the two in Canada and is considered to rank among the top five worldwide. People of all ages can enjoy the exhibitions with a lot of hands excitement about opportunities for all ages. 2. Granville Island: Granville Island is a commercial area located in False Creek through the center Vancouver. The mall is one of the most successful North American urban renewal projects and widely copied by other cities. An abandoned industrial park was transformed into a thriving market and entertainment destination frequented by locals and tourists alike. You can spend as much or as little time you have available as variety of shops, activities and dining options are seemingly endless. Granville Island market is open 9:00 a.m.-7 pm seven days a week, is a sensory fate full of artfully displayed produce, seafood and wide selection of meat and bakery delights mouth water. Have a coffee, find a bench and enjoy the view on water. Then walk through a series of shops where you can buy everything from books to craft high quality marine supplies, kayaks, lawn equipment and children's toys. In fact the kids will love visiting the Children's Market and Adventure Zone. With the extra time you can rent boats, including kayaks, organize fishing trips and even go whale watching.

3. Museum of Anthropology: Anthropology Museum has recently undergone a multimillion dollar renovation several years. Located in a spectacular Arthur Erickson designed on the base of the cliffs of Point Grey. Is famous for its collection of folk art, especially the peoples of the Northwest although it also shows the art of indigenous peoples worldwide. 5. Grouse Mountain: Grouse Mountain is located in North Vancouver. It's peak is accessible via the Skyride, an aerial tram offers large 2.9 km (1.8 miles) and 853 meters (2800 feet) up the mountain in about 10 minutes. Once there Grouse Mountain offers a wide variety of activities to further involve every age group. 7. Capilano Suspension Bridge: There's more experience here than a simple walk across a bridge in a West Coast rainforest. To begin the bridge sways 70 feet above the Capilano River in a span of 450 feet. You can then continue with the adrenaline rush for the adventure game that lets Treetops navigate a series of high-tech suspension bridges between Douglas fir trees. On the ground enjoy guided tours to nature, a visit to the library largest private totems or expressions of First Nations peoples in size, fabric and beads.

8. Vancouver Art Gallery: The Vancouver Art Gallery contains over 9,000 works of art. It is internationally renowned for contemporary art based on the photo and has the largest collection of works Emily Carr also contains one hundred years of art produced by local British Columbia. It is open until 9 pm Tuesday night.
