Aquarium Nano Chiller

What to choose – a small aquarium or large

Most aquarists are dictated by circumstances. There is a large aquarium, at a price that good, but once defined problem, and that's no place to say. So a smaller aquarium is chosen, but not by choice. However, even in the circumstances described, a smaller aquarium could be the choice.

Most aquarists dream big, visualizing aquarium final reef will end. In most cases, never materialized. Some are lucky, of course. There are some beautiful coral great about.

Also there are some small reefs surrounding beautiful, but beauty is in the face ". It is in the details.

There is a kind of aquarium in which, I imagine, more Bigger is better. That is the only aquarium fish. When a system is considered aquarium, the coral and fish, if they say that angels and butterfly fish are to be kept, then the fish is the only option. Some angel and butterfly fish are said to be easy reefs, but many are not. The hobbyist with an aquarium fish large only have a lot of choice of fish, with all the color and interest that goes with them. If the tank was smaller than the loading of fish should be reduced. This does not mean that a single small fish tank is a waste of time, it is not. In this case, however, the choice of fish is limited in size and territoriality. For example, would be a mistake to the house of a surgeon fish in an aquarium nano.

Small aquariums, as the nano should hold fish size. Perhaps the common clownfish (Amphiprion oscellaris) would be appropriate, or other small fish like neon goby (OceanOps Elacatinus) and the like. In the nano largest aquarium, fish, and dwarf angels (Centropyge sp) might be appropriate. planting levels have to be a discipline issue with aquariums nano very small, and not excessive with the largest. Aquarium fish of any size only has the advantage that, although water quality is important, there is great need to worry about calcium and the like, the need to keep the nitrates and phosphates as low as possible. So if the desire is to have a number of exotic fish that can not be easy to reef, a larger aquarium will do. If the idea is to have one or two small fish then a nano will be fine. Both types are needed appropriate decor for the fish to feel safe.

If the fan longs for a reef aquarium, and want to emulate as close to coral reef in quantity then a larger aquarium will be needed. Fish populations must be controlled and hostile reef fish are not needed, and too many fish tend to depress the quality of water in spite of modern equipment. The landscaping of the reef is very fun, and the aquarist will, with care and attention, to achieve a beautiful reef. The reef never adequately emulate nature's own, of course. There is a lack of size, lack of diversity, and reef fish hostile missing.

Then there the amateur who is very interested in the details. They do not want a large reef, but a very small part of a reef so that the detail of the development of life on a rock or two can be seen in particular. Or perhaps the antics of two small fish are the attraction. Here, the nano will be suitable as a 'live' roll or two of size right is all that is required. Then you can store a coral fan or two, perhaps a more appropriate shrimp, or go to a fish or two. Most likely, the aquarists deliberately choose a nano tank when there is room for something bigger are few.

Again, as mentioned above, the vision of most amateur is the largest. The aquarium also nano brings the fascinating marine world more accessible to the amateur with limited financial capacity.

There are fans who are at largest coral reef aquarium and a fish are also unique. This is probably the best of both worlds. Then there are the fans, usually advanced directing a larger aquarium of any kind, as well as running a nano aquarium, sometimes two, so that certain aspects of marine life can be studied.

What are the advantages of a nano aquarium? The term nano is applied to an aquarium of 50 gallons. The nano can start at a size of 10 gallons or slightly less. As Therefore, it becomes quite obvious that all costs are minimized. In the nano only fish, is the cost of fish, of course, and the mixture of sea water, and any base of sand which could be used, and heating and lighting. In addition to the regular rock required. If 'live' rock corals from one or two small incorporated then the cost will rise, but not significantly. Therefore the demand of the portfolio will be high. Running costs are low. Changes in number of gallons water and are effective, if done weekly to maintain water quality. If there is a requirement of calcium etc then commercial additives should last a long time. There should be no requirement for expensive add-on to the computer. If desired nano aquarium can be purchased ready for use at reasonable prices in the designs conform to the modern home and well. There are potential problems however. If the aquarist surplus then water quality will suffer. The seawater is small gallonage subject to negative changes, perhaps caused by the aquarist (overeating, overdose), or caused by external influences (overheating). So the aquarist nano must be more vigilant in water parameters.

Which aquariums are more than 50 gallons capacity? The bigger they get, more money will be needed. The cost of a tank big enough, when fitted with 'live' roll, sand bed, protein skimmer, coral and Fish can run to thousands. It is not cheap. Similarly, the fish only system. The large amount of seawater is required any "live" rock used a skimmer protein, etc. sand bed, plus all the fish back is an important cost. larger aquariums can also be purchased ready for use. The cost of these is very high. In this, the largest aquariums are naturally stable. The amateur must make a major blunder in a bad overdose the tank. Feeding the same way while the highest number of fish in a fish tank only more boost could mean trouble. External influences can cause overheating problems, the biggest aquarium is not immune to this. halide lighting and a warmer climate will cause an increase in temperature. However, the temperature rise will occur more slowly because of the greater volume of water. In general, as the largest aquarium is often easier, more practical and economically acceptable take measures to control the rise in temperature with fans or, if you really need, a refrigerator (Chiller). This refers to the setting of refrigeration to a larger aquarium is easier than doing so with a very small nano aquarium, and the high cost of a sea water cooler is more acceptable in an aquarium very expensive. It can do with a nano, of course, and for the sake of life in the aquarium stable parameters are needed.

Therefore, it is 'horses for courses' as say. We each have our own ideas and we know that our financial capacity. Whatever the choice, marine life is fascinating.
