Space Needle: The world famous Space Needle was built in anticipation of the 1962 World's Fair. From the kitchen class served in the World revolving restaurant at the top of the tower at the Seattle Center at the base, the Seattle Space Needle is a must for every visit.
Seattle Center: This is the fairgrounds where the Space Needle was built. Today it remains a hive of activity with rides, food booths, art show and a water fascinating. It is also where visitors go to Paul Allen's Experience Music Project.
Pike Place, Pike Place Market is a charming collection of fresh produce stands, fish vendors, antique vendors and small entrepreneurs of all time next to the quaint restaurants. All this provides a fund for innovative artists and the street gawking visitors who come to this milestone in Seattle.
Ballard locks: the ships passing between Puget Sound and Lake Washington through the Hiram Chittenden Locks, affectionately known as the "Ballard Locks" by locals. During the season the salmon run, Children and adults will be fascinated by the spectacle of salmon climb the fish ladder to swim against the current. Take a picnic and relax in the environment beautiful scenery while watching the squirrels running around.
Seattle Pacific Science Center: This museum is nothing more than the typical collection of ancient artifacts and historical exhibitions. Instead there is an IMAX theater, a planetarium and a fascinating butterfly house. Often, the Center hosts various exhibitions.
Safeco Field / Quest Field: Years ago, the Seattle Mariners professional baseball team in Seattle, and the football team of the city, Seattle Seahawks received two new stadiums at the site of the old Kingdome. Baseball games are played at Safeco Field, while football fans gather at Quest Field for see the Seahawks. Both stadiums are state of the art, built so much to see and functionality, but do not expect a limited menu of hot dogs. Fans find a wide variety of foods intended to satisfy their hunger amid cheers and beers.
Pioneer Square: Pioneer Square is a neighborhood that has seen more cosmopolitan 100 years. Her latest reincarnation is a main destination for the activities of downtown, with clubs, bookstores, cafes, bookstores and numerous galleries. Don your walking shoes and set out to explore and enjoy all the attractions of this lively neighborhood.
Boeing Tours: Visit Everett Boeing plant just north of Seattle, about 30 miles. There are daily tours of the aircraft manufacturing facilities, where you can gaze down the entire process from the catwalk above all the activity below. There are height and age requirements, so check before you leave, if you plan to take the little ones.
Aquarium Seattle: Seattle Pier 59 is home to more than some fantastic seafood restaurants. It is also home to the Seattle Aquarium, where visitors will be fascinated for all the amazing and captivating creatures on the screen.
Washington Ferries: Anyone who knows anything about the Pacific Northwest are known to shuttle a typical mode of transportation in this area of the West Coast. If you drive your car or simply walking, you can relax and watch the seagulls, sea lions and even time then a distant whale, and leave the driving to the ferry.
