substrate for plant aquarium?

so I'm thinking hard about how some plants. I know I need something to add to the gravel but what should I get this custom to be so expensive and long.

With heavy feeder roots, can only use a few tablets of the root, as Seachem Flourish root here. Most plant substrates are intended to be used alone, or to be placed completely under a layer of gravel.
