I am currently cycling a 10 gallon tank for 3 new dwarf blowers (not bought yet). I would use live plants, but the last time I died very quickly plants and roots "fell." I had some red and wavy grass appeared. Anyway … 1. What are the easiest to care for live plants? I can get at my local PetSmart … 2. Do you need fertilizer for plants? 3. Do I need special lighting? I bought the plant lights, 2 x 10 gallons for me, but turned out to be color purple and not very bright … 4. any advice on how to keep the plants alive? 5. for dwarf puffer fish .. to feed them snails and many people only race them for food … be snail eggs on plants, so should not buy a snail? or should I buy a shell and put in a gallon tank to allow race? only need a snail to reproduce it? thanks

low light plants are easier to care because most other plants need lots of light. Such plants include ferns, java, Anubias, Amazon Sword, and onion bulb plants. U do not even need fertilizer for them.
