Koi fish are related to color (one family) and can be as dirty. Get a good filter. Like one for a 40 gallon tank! It'll keep it clean and also will add oxygen to water. Also .. that's WAY too many koi in a 10 gallon tank. They will not last a month before they begin to die off. The very rapid growth and can reach 2 feet high. Not even recommended koi in a 10 gallon tank. Hope you have a tank ready for them …. your loss or your money and your life of poverty.
