How to repair fish tank / re-vamp? Please help!?
I have a 55 gallon tank that has some cracks on one side of it. I know can be repaired with a piece of glass and a little silicone in the aquarium. But I'm not sure how to get things black upper and lower with little or no problem. How should I go for? I do not really need to put water in it again. Well, not the side that is cracked. I want to sit on the opposite side and add another piece to the end to make a terrarium, basically, it can hold some frogs or newts or something. I just need water at that end. I used silicone tanks before, so I know how to do that. But I need suggestions … Please help!
Replacing the glass is not really a DIY project. For a small tank that is much cheaper and easier to get another tank Craigslist. As for the new closure, check this out. http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=162370
