Aquarium design: volcano, black sand, the Enlightenment?

I am redoing my tank tonight, and I wanted everyone's opinion. I buying a volcano of my aquarium, black sand was going to add, maybe some rocks. What bulb should I buy to actually intensify the colors of my fish? I want them are really out and look beautiful. Any other good ideas for my tank? Let me know.
