Aquarium Lighting – which kind? new fish tank purchased, what type of lighting I need?
I have 6 small tropical fish they were in a large tank (which was a gift). However, last night the tank started leaking slightly around the seems, it is a couple of years. Today I went to the store Pet to buy a new one. I bought a ClearSeal CS119 Petite Hexagon aquarium. I asked the clerk if he was suitable for tropical fish, she said yes provided that the heater is equipped. However, I opened the tank and no light (plant / bulb) included (I assumed it was). Now I have a tank that instructions say I should be able to place lighting. I have no idea how to do this. That no light I have to buy? The tank comes with a drain pan and a soft plastic hood. The instructions state that provides support for the lighting – I can not see. There is a groove / section which looks as if for the wires. How I can find the correct light and how they connect – which is confined to the inside view of the hood? When I buy a light, how attached?
my advice to you would go to the store you bought it, the trademark of the tank, and ask for a light strip that fits into the tank. if not let me sell them go to a store water and ask for a strip light, marine fish and i have my light strip was today I went to the store water, with the mark of my tank and bought a new one.i ask expert advice store, mine has two prongs that fit properly and end slot, then put the cap back, my tank is a jewel.
