Brackish water aquarium sand?

I have a 10 gallon tank with brackish water, salinity of 0.10 for my balloon was green, because they are brackish water fish and even have been found in salt water. I wanted to replace the gravel with Fiji pink sand. that would be fine with the tank set I have? Could it be an arena of good vintage?
