slowling me my tank 55gal drum together I still have to build the chapel covers have looked everywhere selfballasted mercury vapor but no luck then I found these high-performance natural flourecent compact bulbs Camparada 23watt 1,500 lumens in a 100-watt bulb that three of these be enough light?

Yes it should work well for most plants. If I remember correctly your tank is deep so you may want to go with blue bulbs in place. The blue light will move deeper into the water and then white light. Doing what is called a light bulb 50 to 50 which basically combines a spectrum of light with a blue light should work very well.
