Led Aquarium Lighting
I do not know how long to keep the lights of my saltwater aquarium in the?

I'm starting a 29 gallon reef aquarium. I have a pact with blue power light and a light bulb actinic 10,000 k daylight per day and 2 LED lights of the moon and do not know how long it should take each of them for or when they turn on?

I would go in the moonlight around 14-16 hours (some prefer to run this 24 / 7, however I have yet to find as profit this can be scientifically proven is not the aesthetic). As for the other two lights, I recommend timers that turn around the actinic light of 1 / 2 hour before the light bulb a day and a half hour later at night. I usually have the brightest lights in about 12 hours a day. Do you know wattage, lumens per watt, the number of these bulbs? This is very important to a reef tank. Have adequate lighting parameters is important to a reef tank, and power in watts per gallon rule is just a starting point the same way the 1 "of fish per gallon rule is or is all that reliable for a serious hobbyist for more lighting information, please visit this site: http://www.americanaquariumproducts.com/Aquarium_Lighting.html not get too political, but I can not in good conscience let the last comment pass, I would never recommend going to counseling liveaquaria / DR. Foster & Smith, has been in business for many, many years and have many contacts in the imported fish trade and other aspects of this hobby (not to mention the many customers I've talked to who have dealt with them), liveaquaria is not a place I would recommend going to counseling or anything else IMO. : ~) C
