"I can use an aquarium fluorescent UVA source of my turtle?

I have a 55 gallon tank with 2 free aquarium lights, I have a Repti Glo new change. But can I use my original light box turtles UVA source. Also I have to remove the glass? I read that the glass under the fluorescent lamp block UVA

glass filters ultraviolet rays so it will be removed. UVA is not what matters is the UVB. I'm doubting bulbs that comes with the tank is UVB. Also, if they do, but using their age. A light bulb will still light, but they have all the dust on the bulb used UVB. Most UVB bulbs are bad between 4 and 6 months, even if it is illuminated.
